Virtual Meet-Up Details

The May presentation coming soon...

To view Jennie's April presentation see the recording here...

In May we will be revealing a new photo for the Inspired By challenge, and we will be discussing Element #3 of the 2021 Lone Robin.  Following our presentations, we will have Show and Tell.

Postcards! To join in our fabric postcard swap, say "Yes" to the postcard exchange when you register.  Nancy will randomly pair participants and send the details to each person.  Within two weeks of receiving your partner's information, you'll put a homemade fabric postcard in the mail to that person.  Soon you will be receiving one from your partner! If you aren’t participating in the Meet-Up, but still want to be part of the exchange, send an email with your name and address to If you haven't made a fabric postcard before you can find some examples and a tutorial on Susan Dague's webpage.

    Show your work during Meet-Up!

To have a photo of your item(s) shown during the Meet-up, send a photo as an attachment to by May 11th at 7 pm.  Please include your name in the message.  For help taking a good photo of your item click here.  Alternatively, you can also hold your item up to the camera during Meet-Up.

At each meet-up exchangers have an opportunity to share the postcards they received.

When creating your postcard, you may want to consider composing something that broadly tells the receiver about you, such as made with your favorite color(s); expresses current feelings or mood; shows a scene of something important to you such as family, nature, animals; or possibly a self portrait. But of course, you are free to create whatever you like.  Don't forget to write a friendly note to your partner.
