February's Presentation
Quilt As You Go For Convenience And Creativity by Ryan Young
Quilt As You Go is a technique for quilting on a home sewing machine that allows creation of big quits with reduced struggle, as well as offering interesting design possibilities. We'll review several different "joins" and talk about pluses, "deltas" and tips.
The son of a sewist, Ryan Young has been quilting in earnest for about a decade, with a modern sensibility and every quilt an experiment, a problem to solve, a discovery, a stretch.

Valentine Exchange: Our third Valentine Exchange takes place in February. You can send a fabric postcard, paper valentine, a box of candy or whatever you like to your partner. Sign up for Postcard Exchange when you register for February’s Quilters Gather. Please send us photos of valentines you send and receive so we can share the love in March.
Show and Tell: Please share your current projects with us. Email photos to EBHQuilters.Gather@gmail.com at least 1 day before the next session. State the category: Color Study, Postcard Exchange, Quilts. Include your full name, title of piece if any, dimensions of quilt or block, a brief story or information about the piece, and/or the postcard partner names. Please note: When you email your images to Quilters Gather you are automatically giving permission for EBHQ to display your work.
Virtual Open Studio: We would love to see where you make your beautiful projects - whether a studio, bedroom, dining room table. Help inspire others by sharing your space and organizational tips and ideas at a future Quilters Gather. More information here.
