Virtual Lecture - Dyeing to Make
Whether for personal or business reasons, I sew a variety of things, from garments to quilts to home wares. Beyond my personal aesthetic, the unifying element for these disparate items is they are crafted in and informed by my passion for hand patterned and dyed fabric. That's where all my creations begin and oftentimes, where I draw inspiration.
In this lecture, I'll walk you through my process from gathering patterning inspiration to project selection and discuss why working this way may yield a more sustainable making practice.
