EBHQ's Winter 2026 Quilters Textile Tour to Japan

EBHQ’s next Textile Tour to Japan will be December 2-14, 2026. Janet McDonald will again be the leader of this tour which will be rich in textile workshops, cultural experiences, and shopping opportunities. Among the museums to be visited are the Izumo Museum of Quilt Art, Itchiku Kubota’s Art Museum (stunningly beautiful kimono!), and Akie Ginza’s Sashiko Museum. Among the new things on this tour: A morning at a temple handicraft market and a visit to a silk factory. The tour is open to everyone, but EBHQ members get a discount.
