Virtual Lecture - Backwards, Forward and Upside Down:

A look at at the personal stories and design principles behind Sarah's quilts.

            

In this lecture Sarah shares a bit about her family history (including deep connections to the Bay Area), and how this informs the quilts she makes today. She will also discuss the ways that her interest in math, her background in painting, and her love of textiles from all traditions influence her approach to the design process.
