IT'S ALL ABOUT THE FACE is all about portrait quilting. In the lecture, Phyllis Cullen co-author of the book by the same name, will guide you through numerous examples and styles of quilted portraits, of people and animals. The book includes lessons on the various aspects of creating these pieces, including posing, choosing photos, creating patterns, values, choosing fabrics, and how to quilt faces. She will offer a good introduction to the books, classes and workshops, with lots of information and inspiration to get out and "make a face!"
