Virtual Lecture - Scraps v. Scrappy
Far too often I hear people say that they can’t do scrappy because it either looks too messy or they don’t have pretty scraps. In this lecture and trunk show I will show you all the pleasures and joys of using your scraps. It starts with sorting and storing. Then we can discuss the difference between a scrap quilt and a scrappy one. That’s right, they are not the same.
Illustrated with my own scrap bins and a collection of both scrap and scrappy quilts. Includes discussions on colour, value, and a little bit of quilt history. Bad jokes always included.
Supplies: Comfy chair, your favourite quilt, a cup of tea or bourbon, and a view of your scrap pile.
