Tumbling Block / Inner City Two-fer":  Both Tumbling Block and Inner City are blocks (and quilts) that are color and value driven providing an opportunity to create quilts from each block - or both blocks together - that have tremendous visual interest.  Tumbling Block is the simplest block that requires set-in seams ("Y-seams") to construct. The Inner City block is constructed with "the best of both worlds," in Kelly's opinion: a mixture of set-in seams and chain-piecing.

Set-in seams have received some really "bad press" and Kelly is here to dispel the myth that "Y-seams" are "hard."  They really aren't!  Kelly (the author of "Hexagons, Diamonds, Triangles, & More) LOVES sewing "Y-seams" and she has taught thousands of quilters how to successfully - and enjoyably - sew "Y-seams" on the sewing machine, opening up a whole new world of block and quilt possibilities for your quilt-making pleasure!  Have no fear!  Give it a try!

NoteThis workshop has a required Workshop Kit which contains 5 acrylic templates and anti-skid material for the templates. The kit is $25.00 + shipping (which will be less than $5 per kit) payable to Kelly via credit / debit card. Please order by May 7th by emailing Kelly at  kelly@kellyquilter.com. Put your phone number in your email so she can contact you for payment. After 5/10 contact ebhqprograms@gmail.com.(a limited amount of workshop kits will be available).
