Making Mixed-Media Art Quilts

In this 2-day workshop with fiber artist and renowned teacher Denise Oyama Miller, you’ll use layers of fabric, paper, paint, and ephemera to create a fabulous mixed-media art quilt. Starting with a machine-quilted background made of batting, fabric, papers, and/or threads you’ll add layers of collaged papers and fabric. To make the work even more uniquely yours, add layers of painting, stenciling, and ephemera.

All skill levels welcome!
