Printing on Fabric: Making Prints from Nature and Found Objects

*Workshop can be taken separately or with Printing on Fabric: Making and Using Your Own Stamps & Stencils (Saturday’s Workshop)—There will be a little overlap of some of the basics but new printing techniques will be introduced. 

Explore fun and easy printing techniques including nature prints from leaves and ways to use found objects for printing and mono-printing. The workshop covers selecting fabrics, options for inks, layering prints, and simple ways to create colorful backgrounds to print on. Each of the techniques will be demonstrated during the workshop providing an opportunity for you to try all of the techniques or you can focus on the one(s) you are most interested in. The instructor will be available to help you troubleshoot and answer individual questions while you experiment and create. It’s a great chance to create your own fabrics or small prints to embellish.
