Either a 1/2" thick smooth wood board covered with 2 layers of cotton fabric, or ideally, a 24"x18", "Cushioned Quilter’" Square"n Blocker", made by June Tailor tm. The number is JT705, the model without the cutting mat on the back.A glue stick. Avery is best, or Uhu brand, 8g size. Many generic brands do not work. DO NOT bring the disappearing purple glue. I do bring some glue that can be purchased.Freezer paper.Basic sewing supplies, which include glass-head pins..Cutting equipment for fabric and paper, which includes rotary cutting mat and fabric scissors. Assorted plastic rulers. Optional: X-acto knife, and Fiskars Circle Cutter. A clean iron. Depending on power availability we may need to share irons.Heavy-duty extension cord and portable light.A soft terrycloth hand towel and a mist spray bottle.
