Demonstration at Voices in Cloth 2010

A variety of demonstrations will be offered during the two days of the Voices in Cloth quilt show. The schedule is:

Saturday, April 10

  Pat Dicker - Fast, Fusible Greeting Cards:
  Pat will demonstrate how to use fusible scraps to create fun, lively, colorful greeting cards, especially nice for those party invitations that request "No Gifts." You may not arrive with a gift, but you will arrive with a lovely little piece of art in the guise of a greeting card.

  Building your fabric stash: ideas for new, perplexed, or non-millionaire quilters
• 2-3pm
  Julie Waldman
  Learn to make a New York Beauty block using paper piecing and curved piecing techniques
• 3-4pm
  Sue Fox
  Developing a Successful Relationship With Your Long Arm Quilter - learn the basics of how Long Arm quilting works and what a Long Arm machine quilter can accomplish. (Handouts included)

  It's Finally Pieced, Now What? - Choosing your quilting design; clues, options and choices. (handouts included)

  Painting on Fabric - Lots of fun, lots of techniques

  Karen Flamme
  Karen will show you how to make beautiful blooms based on her book, "Fast, Fun and Easy Fabric Flowers". You don't even have to know how to sew to make these no-wilt, colorful bouquets.
